By way of appreciation I will be giving away one of my original drawings to one of my Facebook fans! (CONTEST RULES BELOW)
In this contest I will give away the ORIGINAL CONCEPTUAL DRAWING for my painting, “The Forgotten Man.” This drawing will be popular among collectors for its uniqueness. You can see all my notes including each of the president’s heights and how I changed a few things as the painting progressed. I figured those who take the time to enter this contest are deserving of the prize. Good Luck!

ReplyDeleteGrandmaPattiA .... It would be an honor to win this so I can pass it down to my grandson as he learns about American History and Jesus. God Bless you and all your works. May they touch many lives and win souls for our Lord.
ReplyDeleteYour Forgotten Man painting to me is a remembrance over the history of America how when our original government was formed for and by the people. Over time people has lost track of that and spun it into what it is today. A government that has over stepped its bounds numerous times. I love how you kinda split the crowd to show the side who cares about our liberties and those who would destroy it if they had the chance.
ReplyDeleteI believe your artwork is true just the same as Reagan was back in the 80's. I am very moved by the work you have done and plan to purchase some of your pieces in the near future. I look forward to seeing what you will bring us next.

ReplyDeleteYour portrayal of each President is outstanding and true to history. Exceptionally detailed. True to his agenda, our current president is trampling on the very document he has promised to uphold. I think we can all relate in some way to the Forgotten Man in this Masterpiece. Great Job Jon

My Twitter name is gcarruth: In "The Forgotten Man" (as in all of your paintings) you take truth and create a painting. When I study your painting(s) I get a peace in my heart knowing that "this man knows what truth looks like." I am honored to be able to share your works with my grandchildren so they know what truth looks like.

ReplyDeleteLilcolvin on twitter. It is a blessing in this age of pushing God out that we see brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus take stand upon His Truths, when most stomp on it. Praise God for your work in Him with the gifts He has given you Jon. Continue to do His work and His will. This painting needs no words as it speaks for itself. Thank you brother and may God continue to bless you.
ReplyDeleteIcewolf59 on Twitter. I accessed this through FB, but signed up for a Twitter account to get a chance at this unique opportunity. To me, "The Forgotten Man" says boldly and clearly what most Americans are thinking and feeling. I have told several people about this painting and others by you. My fiance and I just purchased a new home and it would be an honor to have this drawing as the first piece of art on our wall. Thank you Jon McNaughton for your unique talent and for sharing this talent with the world.
ReplyDeleteI am lmdansie2 on twitter. I love this painting, "The Forgotten Man" I think our government has truly forgotten the vision held by our founding fathers. They pad their pockets and those of their friends and forget who they were elected to serve. We would be honored to have any piece of your art in our home!
ReplyDeleteI love this picture. It reflects what I see happening in this country! We need to wake up and stand up before there is nothing left that made this country great!!!

This painting is truly inspirational.

What you have captured is not only our current president's attitude toward the freedoms that the founding fathers provided but he is merely the current one that feel the constitution is just an inconvenient outdated waste of paper. He would never been able to do the things he has done without the groundwork having been set by the likes of the Roosevelt’s, Clinton, Wilson to name a few. There are those that do not like your work, but those are the followers that believe the government’s job is to provide for everyone and there is no need for personal responsibility.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all of your work. You have an astounding perspective of what is happening in the world in all of your paintings.

ReplyDeleteI would treasure this drawing forever if I won it. You are one of the world's best artists.

The incredibly deep emotions this painting stirs in me are a combination of sadness, distress, hopelessness, and incredible arrogance (from our current president) It sums up the past and the present with the past being more hopeful than the present. It also sums up the how ALL the years of hard work and the progress that had been accomplished before our current president has been undone in 2 short years. I pray the next 2 won't be as awful.

ReplyDeletePLEASE! How do I get this to put on my wall??? Will you be releasing prints? Not only have you hit the nail on the head, but it is an amazing story and so beautifully done! I would love to have this to pass down to the generations to come as a reminder of what sitting idly by can bring a nation to ruin. We must ALL speak up. We are WE THE PEOPLE!
